The Story Behind the Beat

I've been playing drums since I was two years old. I began drum lessons at age five at my hometown church, First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, Virginia. I knew right away that drumming was my passion. I grew up playing to my favorite artists: Yanni (the Greek musician), the Dave Matthews Band, Sadé, Carlos Santana, Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Hootie and the Blowfish, to name a few. While attending Norfolk Christian School,  I joined every musical group I could, like Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Drumline ( I was Captain from middle school through graduation), Dixie Land Band, school musicals, and the Chapel Leadership Team. I am finishing my Senior year in the School of Music at Liberty University. I also play for Elevation Worship which is the worship team for the world renown Elevation Church. I have been blessed to play music around the country, and I am eager for more opportunities.
